Our story

Adventure Ohio is a small family-owned business founded by the sister and brother team of Michelle Stobart (center) and Eddie Stobart (end). We have spent our whole lives on this river property.  We started this Ohio River rental and excursion company to share our love of the water and nature by curating adventure experiences that are fun and educational. Most of our events include an environmental clean up element as well where we pick up trash and recyclables around the areas we adventure.

It is our hope you will join us for an event on the water soon. Together, we can have fun, enjoy nature and do our part to keep it beautiful!!

Note: We are pictured here with our sister Beckey Stobart (far left) who often joins us for our test runs of various paddle trips we explore before offering them to the public. She’s our biggest cheerleader and one of our favorite adventure buddies.  We have another sister and a ton of young ones that often help in various ways with the business.  You'll likely meet many of them on your visit with us.
